I am a Licensed Psychologist (FL License PY 7948) specializing in psychological and neuropsychological assessment. I completed most of my education and training in Florida, including a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida, Master of Arts degree from the University of West Florida, and Doctor of Psychology degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. I completed my APA-Accredited internship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Washington. I then went on and completed my 2-year APA-Accredited Neuropsychology Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas.
I have delivered individual, group, and couples psychotherapy. I have extensive training and experience in completing psychological and neuropsychological evaluations of patients with chronic medical conditions (such as Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiac conditions), history of stroke, seizure disorder, dementia, and head injury. I have gained specific expertise in mild traumatic brain injury (concussion) and PTSD from working with the Army and evaluating members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. I have completed comprehensive evaluations for disabiility and fitness for duty determinations. I maintain membership in a number of professional organizations, including the National Academy of Neuropsychology (www.nanonline.org), American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology (theaacn.org), American Psychological Association Divisions 40 (Society for Clinical Neuropsychology - www.div40.org) and 42 (Psychologists in Private Practice - www.division42.org).
In addition to private practice work, I am also on the Medical Staff at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale.
